Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport and dedicated the ₹37,000 crore Mumbai Metro Line 3 to the nation — marking a transformative moment in India’s urban mobility and aviation infrastructure.

The 33.5 km Aqua Line, running from Aarey to Cuffe Parade, will serve 1.3 million daily commuters, enhancing Mumbai’s connectivity. The PM also launched the Mumbai One Mobility App and an employment readiness programme to boost youth skill development in Maharashtra.

With these landmark initiatives, Mumbai takes a major leap toward becoming a cleaner, more connected, and future-ready city.
