In this first of seven video trainings on facilitating batterer intervention groups using "Another Way...Choosing to Change"-a 52-week curriculum, strategies to increase engagement and reduce resistance are discussed and modeled. The rationale for creating "micro-groups" to promote socialization opportunities and increase involvement of all clients, rather than just the extroverted "talkers".
