Do It Yourself Flying. This is certainly the cheapest way to enjoy flying. A 1967 film showing examples of home made gyrocopters. One gyro has no engine, it looks so basic it doesn't look like it should lift off the ground! Another home made gyrocopter has a 75 horsepower engine and gets up to quite a speed.
