In this 3d Studio Max tutorial we will be modeling a domed structure and water fountain.

We will use a combination of both poly modeling and spline modeling techniques to complete the structure and the water fountain. We will look at quick and efficient methods to build detailed molding pieces, utilizing simple extrude and bevel techniques, as well as combining spline profiles and the lathe modifier. We will also look creating and positioning objects using the Array tool, as well as applying smoothing groups to our model.
