I like to tweak mixes of songs [or full albums], and try to give them a different sound. - 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮.

This is loosely connected to the process of "Mastering" and/or "Remastering".

➡️ Yes, I know this remaster is a little too bright. I don't usually make things this bright, but I had to do it for this EP to mask and shift the focus of the listener from the artifacts of lossy encoding that were present in the original audio.


❓What I did❓
➡️ My main focus was the instrumentation and vocals, everything I did was to make the instrumental and vocals sound more musical, and as a result, side-effects of processing I did for the improvement of instrumentation and vocals reflected on the sound and frequency balance of the whole mix which means that many compromises had to be made. I hope I made sense.

*In my opinion, this EP would have benefitted immensely from re-mixing, with special focus on re-mixing of the instrumentation to bring out the liveliness and emotion of the instrumentation that's absent in currently available official mixes of songs on "Of June" EP.

"I could only do so much with the officially available mastered files I had access to. Limitations were there."

Copyright belongs to respective copyright owners. They can, and they should rightfully monetize this video on their behalf and get Ad revenue paid to themselves. In exchange, I get permission to use their content, Ads are shown on my video, but the substantial Ad revenue is paid to artists and copyright owners, and the 'visibility' of my video doesn't get 'blocked'.

This unofficial remaster has been posted on my personal 'YouTube' channel only for demonstration purposes while promoting at the same time the music of this band/artist. These remasters won't be distributed anywhere else. No monetization on my side would result from this video. Only the artists and copyright owners reserve the right to get the monetization revenue.


I do not own the content (music audio + cover art picture) used in my remaster video. It belongs to Owl City, the label, and other legal owners. My version is just an unofficially remastered version of the original work, nothing else.

Title 17-107 permits the use of a protected work if the use is for a purpose “such as criticism, demonstration, comparison, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, education, and research”. Such material remains under the copyright of the original holder.
