Описание к видео 2021 Vienna Philharmonic Silver Coin Unboxing (Directly from Austrian Mint!)

Hey, welcome to The Coin Box! Today we're doing somewhat of an unboxing/quick overview of the Vienna Philharmonics and I got these directly from the Austrian Mint! I have a friend who went to Germany and was kind enough to bring these for me. There's the date, the 16th of June, 2021. I've taped off some information here. There you can see it's two ounces of silver; one ounce in a red pack and one ounce in a mini folder, which is a blister I guess we'd call it, and if you can read german there's some information. There's the price which is about the going price in the states 29.96 euros and 27.46 for a total of 57 but then 9 euros almost 10 in shipping and then another almost 13 in taxes! So that's about 22% tax for a total of 80 euros so I definitely overpaid for these two, but part of the reason I got these was because I have not seen these presentations for sale online, or you know, with dealers in the States. I'm sure they are, but I haven't seen them. They're probably not very common. So this is the first one. This is a little cardboard sleeve and it comes in a red box if we can get this open here.

There we go. There is the Vienna Philharmonic it says "Republic of Austria", I believe that's the organ from the Musikverein, I don't know if i'm saying that correctly but something like that. One ounce fine silver 2021, one and a half euros. That's the obverse. Now I do wish this came with a certificate of authenticity. It doesn't, just comes in the box in the sleeve. It's a nice presentation, but I also wish it came with a capsule. It doesn't come with a capsule, it's just loose. This just pops out.

And this is the reverse it says "Vienna Philharmonic" and "silver" and small lettering then we have a cello with some violins possibly a viola or two a bassoon a harp and then what most people think is a french horn, which I believe is a vienna horn. Now why would you have a french horn on a vienna philharmonic when you can have a vienna horn? So I believe that's what it is. Oh and looky there, okay, most coins you would flip over and the orientation would still be correct. This you flip sideways and it maintains the orientation, so that's kind of different also. So there we go, that's one of the two. And then we have --let me push this up here --then we have this other one. It comes in this envelope and in turn in this red folder mini folder and a blister. Again, this doesn't come in a capsule, but it is at least protected behind some plastic in a blister pack. This is a nice presentation. It has some technical specifications. One and a half euros, 37 millimeters in diameter, 999 fine silver and a troy ounce 31.07 grams. So there you have it, I will definitely be doing an in-depth video soon on the Vienna Philharmonic. We'll talk a little bit about the obverse and the oops the reverse of the coin and get into a little bit about the history of the coin as well. So, if you're interested in that, stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
