Completing Your Case Management Statement

Описание к видео Completing Your Case Management Statement

In unlimited cases in Sacramento, the court schedules regular case management conferences to keep tabs on the progress of the case. 15 days before the CMC, the parties must file and serve a Case Management Statement, form CIV-110.

This video shows how to fill out the form and discusses how to make decisions such as choosing between a jury trial and a judge ("bench") trial; estimating how long the case will take; and the different types of Alternative Dispute Resolution available. It also covers the Mediation Statement, a local Sacramento County form, and the tentative ruling system.

Note: In Sacramento, limited civil cases are excluded from the Case Management Program and will not use this form. Instead to request a trial date, use the Limited Civil Case Status Memorandum. A guide to filing out the Limited Civil Case Status Memorandum is available on our site, saclaw.org.
