Naval Port of Karlskrona - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Описание к видео Naval Port of Karlskrona - UNESCO World Heritage Site

The UNESCO World Heritage site of the Naval Port of Karlskrona is a Renaissance-era naval base in southern Sweden. It was built to provide year-round control of the Baltic sea by Swedish warships, as the existing base in Stockholm tended to ice over winter! There's some interesting history and beautiful architecture here - more than you'd expect from a still-active naval base! Let's check it out.
