Circuit Bending an Effects Unit/Pedal (Yamaha REX50) | SCBSS 2.2

It’s the Super Circuit Bending Super Show! In this series, I teach you how to Circuit Bend by showing projects and builds in full. Since I cover everything step-by-step, it’s great for beginners or experienced benders/makers looking for their next project! The goal is to make circuit bending and hobby electronics more accessible by demystifying electronics (as well as the techniques, processes, tools, circuits, and jargon) so you can dive right into revitalizing old stuff and building weird things!

In this Episode, I bend a Yamaha REX50: adding a patchbay, patchable controls, Clock and LFO mods. In Part 2 (this video), we’ll get into what I call the “setup” phase of the project. I’ll talk about what that means and some of the different styles you might already be familiar with (or should check out if you aren’t).
