Despite solid golf through the first three rounds, the Korean slid mostly under the radar until she put together the round of the tournament on Sunday. She posted a 67 that included six total birdies, three of which came on her final three holes. She topped the field by a single shot.

She is the eighth Korean to win the U.S. Women's Open title in the past 13 years.
