Welcome back to our channel! In today’s video, we’re going to discuss how to connect Google Gemini with Gmail and Google Docs to boost your productivity. Gemini can help you write, summarize, and organize information directly inside your favorite Google Workspace apps.
To get started, open your Google Workspace account and make sure you’re logged in. Gemini features are built into Workspace for eligible plans, and your Workspace admin may need to enable Gemini for your organization. Once it’s available, you’ll start seeing the Gemini icon inside supported apps like Gmail and Google Docs.
In Gmail, you can use Gemini to summarize long email threads, draft replies, or improve the tone of your messages. Simply click the Gemini icon or the “Help me write” option inside an email. You can give it prompts like “Summarize this conversation” or “Write a polite reply,” and Gemini will generate suggestions based on the email context.
In Google Docs, Gemini can help you write documents, brainstorm ideas, and edit content. Open a document and click the “Ask Gemini” button or Gemini icon, usually found at the top of the page. You can ask it to create an outline, rewrite a paragraph, summarize text, or even generate new sections based on your instructions.
By using Gemini in Gmail and Docs, you can save time, communicate more clearly, and get more done throughout your workday.
