Описание к видео Steven Universe: Attack the Light -- Stage 2-5, Green Light (Diamond Mode)

Okay, we totally beat up any and all green meanies that crossed our path... and we very exhaustively combed through the entire battlefield for treasure and loot as far as the eye could see. So we're good here, right? Right. I can't imagine what's left undone around here. What do you think, ominous skull symbol backed by crossed swords?

... ... ...

I have absolutely no reason why I would break with my usual paranoia and BUY something (will ya?)... least of all one of those things I'm most resolved to keep up my sleeve for a rainy day that hopefully never comes...

Strawberry Battlefield
Stage 2-5:

Oh, right, five stages ago, we fought a REAL boss thing... and even though this one's seen fit to show itself several times before now, we haven't fought it directly. Oh well, it threw powerful copies of Pearl and Amethyst at us, what more could it possibly do?!

(Is this shtick of feigned ignorance towards the obvious amidst a clear pattern doing anything for you? Complete and utter irritation? Good! ...er... maybe?)

BOSS: Green Light

Behold, Green Light Garnet... and... wait, no! Not YOU TWO again! Now you want to fight for real, Green Light monster? ... ... ...c'mon, man... light... thingy... the Violet Light was cool about things, if a bit confusing... but I see how it is. Gotta have the odds stacked in your favor before you want to stick it out and put up your dukes, huh?!

At least we already know what to expect from Green Light Amethyst and Pearl... and thus we know exactly why Amethyst needs to go, pronto. That said, it's extremely prudent to be nervous around Green Light Garnet given the sorting algorithm the Green Light's been using to fine-tune its doppelganger gang... she does a ton of damage even when blocked, getting hit out-of-time with her rhythm could easily end your own Gems almost singlehandedly. Green Light Pearl... will basically finish off whatever's left before the enemy turn is over... which is immensely frustrating, but not nearly as directly dangerous as the other two.

The Green Light creature itself, on the other hand... is essentially a beefier version of the weakest enemy in the whole area. All it can do is poison you or do some light healing. Hey, are they trying to say THIS thing is the Steven of their group?! ... ... ...I wish Steven could poison enemies.

In actuality... if you can just defeat the Green Light creature itself, the battle ends and the hard light copies of hard light projections will simply cease to be. This is fairly reasonable once you remove the fake Amethyst, but it's hard to throw all your weight into that task with a pugilistic powerhouse pummeling you into powder. After that, you might consider whomp(-WHOMP)ing on a copy of Pearl just a tad... purely extracurricular, since any copies left intact once you finish the boss itself off will promptly explode into Light Crystals and jam themselves into Steven's wallet just the same. (N-no, I'm obviously not enjoying myself overly much over here! Why would you even say such a thing?!)

This situation is a pretty stiff contest even under normal conditions, but on Diamond Mode, missing your guard chances too many times in a row can and will result in one or more of your Gems getting poofed... honestly, even being perfect about it might only stave off the inevitable, because chip damage and a constant influx of poison will certainly add up. The problem is, you can't reasonably heal the whole team under these conditions... you'd spend all your time putting out fires and STILL never catch up to the whole team beatdown they can provide... AND you'd lose your offensive initiative doing so. Since you obviously won't be defeating even one of these enemies on the one turn where you have full free rein to attack as you please... and you can't exactly go guzzling Together Breakfasts until the deed is done, we're going to have to face some practical truths. Someone's probably going to get wiped out.

Honestly, at this stage in the game... you're really only in major trouble if that Gem ends up being Garnet, because you're going to need to drop the enemy defense to squeeze the most possible damage out before all these attacks eventually wear you out or your defensive taps fail enough times under the pressure before that. Of special additional interest would be whoever has the Ember Badge, because that passive damage along the way will also seriously add up. In this case, Pearl still has it, so... it might've been a bit of a strategic overreach to try to bring her back and let Amethyst fall by the wayside under the strained resources, but the fact that the way Pearl's level ups have allowed her to outpace Garnet's raw damage output (after Shield Breaker) is also noteworthy. (It also brings your healing and shielding duties to far more manageable levels, too... a very un-Steven observation to make.)

Otherwise, the battle gets progressively easier once you start eliminating variables... on both sides, if need be...
