This video starts at Schwedenplatz in the city center of Vienna.I walk through the beautiful streets of Vienna, some of them remote streets where there are not many tourists, and my goal is to visit the former building of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The old stock exchange is a listed building in the inner city. The building was built in 1874-1877 by Theophil Hansen and Carl Tietz in classicist Renaissance forms, opened by Emperor Franz Joseph I on March 14, 1877. The first stock exchange meeting took place on March 19, 1877. After the privatization of the stock exchange, the institution moved out of the stock exchange building in 1998.
