Tylosaurus could & were known to grow well over 45 feet long. Think about standing in front of one of these gigantic monsters and you be able to sweep tonight. The original name or label for Tylosaurus was "Macrosaurus" proriger. After a fierce verbal rivalry between the paleontologists on the name of the sea predator they finally agreed to Tylosaurus. The first specimen of a skull and vertebrae discovered in the United States of America Specifically Kansas in‭ ‬1868‭ which would then be known as the infamous Tylosaurus. This sea creature could shine through your worst lightmares and conjure up a permanent illumination of horrifying visual imagery. Tylosuaurus was alive during the late Cretaceous nearly 85 million years ago from the 21st century. Another fact about this prehistoric sea predator marine reptile tylosaurus was its diet mainly consisted of Fish, turtles and other reptiles, including dinosaurs and even other tylosauruses.
