Mardi Gras, our rescued Carolina Dog (American Dingo) has been really good on her walks. Here is an update as of August 2024.

She wants to stay with us instead of roaming around somewhere without us, so I found an opportunity to do off leash training. It is controversial, but I found it natural and freeing if the environment allows. Her personality helps as well -very loyal to her owners and timid around other humans and dogs -typical Carolina dog features. During our walk, I practiced basic commands such as come, sit, down, leave it, heel, etc. There are certain things still in progress, and I look forward to seeing how this training goes.
