Part 6 - Fixed Bed, Floor Hole Filling, Foam and Taping.

Would velcro work for the bed slats? (Yep). Did I order enough foam to fill the holes in the floor? (Yep). How did I cut the foam? (Initially with a blade, no good, then some scissors, took too long, hand saw, that was easy!!)

Then taped up the foam on the floor. All good.

I've had numerous campervans and none of them have given me exactly what I want, which is the best possible driving experience, plenty of storage, and decent sized double bed. Too many camper van conversions focus on the looks as against the practical design.

So... with minimal knowledge and skills but plenty of ideas I have decided to set about creating one that fits my needs.

I apologise but I do not even know the difference between and "nut" and a "bolt", so please excuse me if the terminology is wrong. But hey... give me a few tools and I'll give things a go!

I am making a series of short videos purely as I needed to use youtube and the videos of others to help with the process and I could not always find exactly what I needed easily.

As with all designs and builds sometimes you have to revise plans as you go along. That is exactly what I did with this project.

I hope it helps to inspire other camper plans.
