Sony's latest flop is one of many with the lesser-known characters tied to the Spider-Verse. Without Spider-Man appearing in the movies or having any real direct ties to the world contained in these movies fans seem disinterested. Marvel has yet to bring Tom Hollands spider-man into a Sony Spider-Verse installment. Tom Hardy is set to star in Venom 3 later this year. Kraven The Hunter played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson will round out the year in which Sony hopes to recoup potential losses from Madame Web.
