This comforter is TOP quality, absolutely perfect and will doubtless hold up famously. I read some reviews so I washed the comforter right out of the box (yes, in the washer and dryer), which was good advice. In bed it feels like there's almost nothing there, but at the same time it's perfectly warm and snuggly. I have wanted one of these since I was in Europe in 1985 and enjoyed dunas in every pensioned we stayed in. I hate the feeling of being constrained by the blankets and now I am free I bought two twin-sized comforters so I can wrap myself up as I like without stealing covers from my husband. If you think you might like one, don't hesitate - this is the perfect down comforter.
