Undocumented to Unstoppable: The Innovative Works of Filmmaker Edgar Esteves

Edgar Esteves is an award-winning filmmaker, activist, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles.

Born in Venezuela, he immigrated to the United States at 11 months old after undergoing life-saving surgery; developing his passion for directing over the next 26 years while still undocumented.

After breaking out as the film partner of then-unknown multi-platinum artist Russ, Edgar went on to found Blank Square Productions, which has produced multi-billion view music videos for GRAMMY AWARD® winning artists like Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Doja Cat, and Drake. He has been featured on the iconic Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and led creative brand-building initiatives with Ciroc and Amazon. In addition to his work behind the camera, Edgar is currently developing a television series based on his early life, and continues to advocate for immigration reform, rights for undocumented individuals, and Latinx representation.

When I first met Edgar out in Los Angeles 2019 and he was hungry more than ever, the set was actually so laid back and calm but Edgar was working SO HARD, the passion was felt and I immediately whispered to "This guys so hungry, he is going to be huge if he keeps up that workrate" just 3 years later he has a global production company catering to the biggest artists, one of the many best traits of Edgars is how selfless he is and how loving he is to those around him

He is all about morals, principles, honour and DOING AND BEING THE BEST and bringing the BEST out of others
