Warzone streamer Mutex is under fire after fans noticed a Cronus Max app on his desktop during a stream.

Mutex has become one of the biggest Warzone streamers on Twitch ever since he was dropped from the Dallas Empire for an offensive rant that went viral in the CoD community, but now he is once again under fire for something that occurred on his stream.

Viewers noticed that Mutex had Cronus Max software on his desktop when he pulled it up on a recent Twitch stream. The Cronus is a USB device that effectively kills the recoil of guns and can increase aim assist in games like Warzone, giving the user a massive, unfair advantage, and is a bannable offense if caught.

Mutex deleted the vod where the Cronus app was seen on his desktop, but claimed that it was an old app from when he competed in Call of Duty World War 2. Other pros, like Karma, have confirmed that pros would often bring their own Cronus to events because the ones provided were often busted, and it was allowed in the events at the time.

So did Mutex keep Cronus software on his PC since 2017 and never use it in Warzone or other events where it might be considered cheating? Hard to say, but at the very least, it’s not a great look for the Warzone streamer.
