Devarayanadurga or DD Hills which is a tranquil hill station located near Tumkur district and is only 70km away from Bangalore. Situated at an elevation of 4000 ft, Devarayanadurga is a perfect weekend getaway from Bangalore to live among the trees and visit the beautifully crafted temples.

At the base of the hill is a beautiful lake, full of picturesque beauty replete with greenery and wildlife. Shallow waters of the lake is the best attraction at this spot.

Pro-Tip:
Since Devarayanadurga is at an altitude it enjoys fantastic weather through the year. However, skip the monsoon season to avoid slippery slopes.
