In today's video, I'll be showing you how to make my favorite brown butter sprinkles and chocolate chip cookies recipe that's not only easy to make and irresistible, but also gluten-free. Cookie Tip: Use a small round bowl or cup to circle around the cookie while hot on the tray to make the perfect cookie shape.

BROWN BUTTER SPRINKLES COOKIES (gf):
1 cup 1:1 gluten free baking flour (@bobsredmill is my go-to since it has xantham gum)
1/2 cup oat flour (I use @bobsredmill )
1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract (@nielsenmassey is the best)
1/2 cup melted salted butter until it has golden brown bits (@kerrygoldusa is the best) - if you want vegan, skip the brown butter and use vegan butter
2 eggs room temperature (if you want vegan, use flax seed eggs)
5-6 tbsp sprinkles, reserve for the top of cookie

Melt butter on medium high heat swirling pot then bring to medium heat when butter stops bubbling as fast and slowly watch the butter turn brown. You want to keep the brown bits for the cookie dough. In large mixing bowl, whisk brown sugar, eggs [use flax seed eggs as a vegan option] and butter until it changes into a light pale brown color. Add flours, salt, baking soda and vanilla extract. Switch to spatula to fold and mix gently. Then add sprinkles and fold in gently.

Cover with plastic wrap (plastic wrap should be touching cookie dough) and set in fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight. Make sure to thaw for 5 minutes before baking. Like parchment paper on baking sheet. Use ice cream scoop to make cookie dough rounds and use two fingers to press down lightly. I usually put 4-6 cookies on the sheet tray depending on the size. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-12 min. Take out and hit the baking sheet on counter to flatten cookies.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (gf + v):
1 cup 1:1 gluten free baking flour (@bobsredmill is my go-to since it has xantham gum)
1/2 cup oat flour (I use @bobsredmill )
1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract (@nielsenmassey is the best)
1/2 cup melted salted vegan butter (for non vegan, use butter)
2 flax seed eggs (2 tbsp flax seeds, 6 tbsp warm water, mix until gels) [or for non vegan, use 2 eggs room temperature)
1 cup chocolate bar, cut into small chunks (@lindt 70% dark chocolate or @lilys_sweets dark chocolate bar works great)

Melt butter on medium high heat and cool down completely. In large mixing bowl, whisk brown sugar, flax seed eggs and butter until it changes into a light pale brown color. Add flours, salt, baking soda and vanilla extract. Switch to spatula to fold and mix gently. Then add chocolate chips and fold in gently.
