ABOUT THIS SERIES: Servant of God, Sr. Thea Bowman, FSPA (1937-1990) championed a universal invitation to preaching as members of the Body of Christ. Bowman was known for integrating her Catholic tradition with Black spirituality. The "Preaching from Sr. Thea's Kitchen" series centers and amplifies Black voices by offering reflections from the BC community on the intersection of scripture and racial justice.
