SturdiBag Flexible Height Pet Carrier: Large SturdiBag Review

This is a review of the large SturdiBag pet carrier. I recently purchased two large Sturdibags to use on an international Delta flight to bring my two cats back to the U.S. from South Korea.

Some notes on plane travel with your pet:

When you arrive at the airport, you have to check in at the desk even if there is a self check-in available. One of the airline personnel will take payment for the fee to fly a pet in cabin at that time (you can't pay this beforehand), and they might ask to see how the pet fits in the carrier and to see the health certificate/vaccine records. Then you can check your bags and head to the security check point. At security, you will have to remove your pet from the carrier and walk with them through the metal detector while your pet carrier is scanned through the machine (like all other carry-one luggage). Because you have to remove your pet from the bag, it's to your benefit to invest in a metal free harness/collar and leash. My husband and I used TSA fast pass harnesses and leashes for both of our cats.
