Wondering how Instagram can be used for your Medical Practice? In today's jam session Doctor Multimedia's Co-founder & CFO, Pras Murthy (aka "Practice Growth Pras"), shares the basics of Instagram, what it is, and how it can grow your medical practice.

An Instagram Post can be a single picture, multiple pictures, or a video that will be published to your profile and to the Instagram Home Feed, which your followers will be able to see.

Instagram Stories are similar to Snapchat where you can share short temporary videos and pictures to people who are following you in a vertical format and they only last for 24 hours. Stories are great for keeping followers up-to-date on what's going on in your practice that day. Followers can tune into your stories by clicking your Profile Picture in Instagram. If you want to share a video with a longer duration, you can post a video to IGTV.

Lastly, you can go Live on Instagram, meaning you can turn on your camera and people can see what you're doing in real time. This is great for special events, birthday celebrations, raffles, etc. to generate excitement.
