The Sunset Crochet Jumper | beginner friendly crochet project!

Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!

I've done it again. Not satisfied with how much time and space sewing and knitting take up, I've also picked up crochet! I tried a while back but couldn't get past making endless chains. Under the supervision of my friend Elena, I was able to graduate first to a blanket and then a jumper. This jumper design was devised by my friend Elena as an easy, beginner friendly project that taught both her and myself how to crochet jumpers and transferrable crochet skills.

For this project, you will need a 4 mm crochet hook and DK yarn. I used Hayfield Spirit DK, which gives the beautiful gradient. I used approximately four 100g balls of the yarn. However, you may need more if you make it less cropped! This is also a very flexible pattern, as it's made only of rectangles, and therefore you can adapt it to any kind of yarn and hook size for different textures (I've also made in a chunky yarn for a big jumper!).
