This was my third attempt ever at forging Cable Damascus. The cable was one inch in diameter and soaked in kerasan for 48 hours. after that it was just heat, twist, and beat with lots of flux. Blade was cleaned up and hand sanded to 220 grit and etched in boiled white vinegar for 30 mins.
