12 Tube Amp Tones From 1 Pedal - Origin Effects RevivalDRIVE

Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, Gilmour, Iommi, Mayer... these guitarists are revered for their epic tone. A major part of their tone comes from non-master-volume tube amplifiers turned up to their "sweet-spot" or, in the case of some of these recordings, cranked up to max!

The RevivalDRIVE pedal by Origin Effects fits the circuitry from these classic amplifiers into a stompbox enclosure and includes controls to accurately recreate the tones from specific NMV amps or easily tweak circuit elements to create your own tube amp tone.

Featuring two independent channels and a wide scope of connectivity options, the RevivalDRIVE can be used for natural amp overdrive at bedroom volumes, to add extra channels to your guitar amp, or to eliminate the need for a guitar amp whether on stage or in the studio.

We locked ourselves in a room with a RevivalDRIVE, a Fender Deluxe Reverb, and some classic guitars with the intention of recreating some of the best NMV-amp tones from recordings of these legendary guitarists. The amp is set to conversation volume and isn't being pushed by the pedal at all; that means that all of the overdrive and EQ you're hearing is from the RevivalDRIVE. For the American amp sounds we used a JBL speaker and for the British amp sounds we used a Marshall extension cabinet loaded with Celestion greenbacks.
