Want to know why the network marketing failure rate is so high? (95%+ as far as I recall).

Network marketing is an incredible profession, and it has and continues to change so many lives around the world. The amount of success stories out there is insane!

However, we all know that not everyone succeeds. Of course, there are certain reasons I believe that cause people to fail. And I used to be one of them, until I learned what I was doing wrong.

There are 5 main reasons why a lot of people fail at network marketing. Once you know what these are, you'll know exactly what you need to do to turn things around. Feel free to share with your team!

[NETWORK MARKETING FAILURE REASON#1: FALSE EXPECTATIONS]

This is probably one of the most important reasons, simply because a lot of people don't know what to expect when they get started. Surely, we all see success stories from our company or in the profession in general. It is inspiring! 

However, the problem is we set really high expectations for ourselves. It could be a good thing, but it could also be a bad thing. Let other people's success stories inspire you to see what's possible, but understand it took them TIME to get to where they are today.

Success won't happen overnight, but it will happen over time. Embrace the fact that you will be a beginner before you're a professional.

You have to understand that you may not make a 6-figure income in your first year. Is there a possibility though? Absolutely!

Manage your expectations properly. And in the meantime, get to work and get consistent with it.

[NETWORK MARKETING FAILURE REASON #2: LACK OF PATIENCE]

This reason is very much related to the first one. Patience is a skill set on its own. Especially, considering the fact that we live in the "instant gratification" world, it has become kind of hard.

We can send a message between two different continents in a matter of seconds. With the power of social media, we can get our message out there in front of thousands of people without leaving the house.

With that being said, you need to learn to be patient. Whether it's with getting results with your product, or with the business side in your company. 

[NETWORK MARKETING FAILURE REASON #3: NO COMMITMENT]

In addition to the first two reasons, commitment is the one that's either going to make you or break you. I'm dead serious.

If you are not committed to on company or to changing your life for the better, you might as well quit. You can't expect to get a six pack by going to the gym once. Why expect to make millions in network marketing without commitment?

This will help you heaps especially during the times when things get tough. And trust me, there will be plenty of those. That's just how things are.

When you are 100% committed to your goals, your vision and your company, you'll go through hardships.

The reason most people fail is because they switch companies too darn often. This won't build a long term, sustainable business. Commit to one thing and make it work!

[NETWORK MARKETING FAILURE REASON #4: LACK OF TRAINING]

Training is the absolute key in anything that you do in life. Without education you won't get really far. The same exact thing applies to network marketing.

I've been in companies where they had training, but it wasn't something that was getting great results. That was the reason I had to find more education online.

Here's the thing though - if you love your company and the products, but the training sucks, it doesn't mean you have to quit. Absolutely not! There's plenty of training on the Internet. Just on this blog, I've got 370+ articles for you.

If the company doesn't provide proper training, become resourceful and find ways to educate yourself. There's absolutely no excuses in the Internet era.

[NETWORK MARKETING FAILURE #5: NO BELIEF]

This reason has been a HUGE one for me. The previous companies I was with had great products, but I wasn't as passionate about them as I wanted to be. Of course, this has led to some failure for me.

If you don't believe in what you have to offer 1,000%, you won't build a business. Trust me on this one, I tried.

This has been one of the core reasons I personally had to switch companies. When there's no passion and no belief, it just WON'T WORK.

At this point, I typically suggest to stay as a customer in your company, and build something else as a business builder.
