Combats des Reines, also known as, swiss cow fighting has been a genuine swiss tradition for 100 years. The Hérens breed of cattle has a special place in Swiss hearts. Cows are as much a part of Swiss tradition as watchmaking and chocolate. I had the honor to witness the FIRST qualifying match of the season following the alpine descend & it was absolutely phenomenal.
