I'm dumb and forgot to say that the damage of the lance scales primarily with Arcane regardless of weapon affinity so let's uhhh chalk that in the minuses column if you end up confused about your own damage output. if you're not an ARC build, you've only got a bazooka for poise. Other fun facts about Spectral Lance that just didn't fit in the video because it's more of a counterplay, but it counts as a spell for the purposes of being absorbed by Carian Retaliation or Golden Retaliation (and likely Thops' Barrier as well, but I'm unsure about how it interacts with Storm Wall), and i've seen anecdotes online that in the release version of the game Spectral Lance could carry over certain weapon buffs and affinities but this interaction was patched out either before I got the game myself or before I got spectral and lancepilled myself.
