Mortal Kombat II Ultimate Edition : (Sega 32X Hack) Let's Play (Reptile)

Mortal Monday!

Mortal Kombat II for the Sega 32X is incredible in my opinion.

I finally got the chance to play MKII on the 32X this year because I never owned a Sega Genesis growing up let alone a 32X. I did get to play the Genesis as a kid because my late uncle bought and I was impressed since I only had a Nintendo. Because of him I'm a game geek. Anyhow, I would get my MK fix on my SNES and sometimes on the Arcade but rarely did on the Genesis. All I knew was MK on the SNES mostly and what an amazing port that was, but know--many years later, I've encountered the elusive MKII on the 32X and boy--oh boy, what a port this is. That's why I call it the "Grand Daddy" of the 90's cartridge ports.

I've played the stock MKII 32X but then I've came across this ultimate edition that improves on an already great port to make it even better. It's eye candy to the eyes and sweet music to the ears but it still has a few flaws and that's ok because it's a home port and on a cartridge. There's a latest hack for this game that takes it to a higher level which I plan on adding in the near future, so stay tuned!
