The story is inspired by British records and folklore passed down through generations of the locals from Bhitarkarnika region.

Hidden deep inside the mangroves of Bhitarkanika, there lived something so terrifying that fishermen stopped fishing, boats changed their routes, and even hunters feared the water. They didn’t call it a crocodile. They called it "KALIA", he was the ruler of the rivers and he was a monster in size and charater.

All names of characters in this story are fictional, and any resemblance to real people or locations is purely coincidental.
