A trad wife is a woman who believes in and practices traditional roles in the home but also believes that she is not sacrificing freedoms and rights to do so.

This may seem counterintuitive as we have been brought up in a SYSTEM that trains children through the schools to be workers and obey to authority in a workplace setting.

I still remember being in school having to make a poster of what I wanted to do when I was older. I was taught school was the priority, getting a good education, and having a good job. I made a poster proudly toting “anesthesiologist” and began pursuing a career in the medical field.

Sure, I’m happy I had the “right” to pursue these things. But now, we are seeing our society fail in front of our eyes, and it isn’t just due to one thing. It is a conglomerate of system agendas. One of those agendas being to get women and mothers out of the home.

These skills aren’t just to be a perfect trad wife, but they can be applicable to build a strong foundation. Cooking and baking from scratch brings power back to your kitchen. Learning to raise and love animals connects you with your food and different spirits. Tending to a garden, keeping a sourdough starter, and learning to nourish your family are all skills that will connect you with ancestral wisdom and return freedoms that were discretely taken from you.

When we step away from traditional roles, the family unit crumbles and society along with it.

Sure, we can adapt, but again, at what cost?
