#stitch with @yiddies The caucasity of the mediocre man. This is an indelible story of American history and explains so many of the reasons why we find ourselves in the predicament that we now face (I.e. Climate Change, political strife, an economy that does not serve people, etc.).

The submersible was just an analogy of how many people feel, finding themselves stuck on a dangerous ride with a mediocre male leaders that don’t know what they are doing (Ex. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, politicans).

Stockton Rush knew how dangerous it was, had gone 10 - 12 times, knew it was unsafe, and still went, risking the lives of people who didn’t know any better. No one held him accountabilty up until that point even with his Playstation controller and makeshifts parts from Camping World.

Someone should have stopped him, but we just assumed this mediocre man knew what he was doing based on his caucastic confidence. We need to learn to call out this caucasity and stop praising these half-baked ideas by men who have very little clue of what they are doing. If we do this, and stop indulging these petulant men, we can finally start tackling the real issues that currently divide us.
