Taita women are well known for their exceptional beauty, cooking skills, kindness, submissive and respectful nature.

On this episode of women and culture, I interact with a group of women called Chapa Kazi Mwazindika who tell us the secret behind their long-lasting marriages. They also define the role of a Taita woman in the society.

The women teach me how to cook their traditional meal known as kimanga which is a combination of beans and cassava. I prepare them loaded hotdogs and capture their reaction to the food on camera.

The women who are professional dancers, showcase their skills and we wind up the day in song and dance.
