Hip Fracture Repair: Dynamic Hip Screw #shorts
Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) turn your body into its own healing machine. These orthopedic implant consists of (3) main components: a large lag screw inserted through the broken hip bone into the femoral head, a side plate attached to the femoral shaft, and cortical screws for secure fixation - its sliding mechanism creates compression with every step you take, literally squeezing the fracture together as you walk and promoting natural bone healing
