📌 The Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanical Garden, commonly known as the Indian Botanical Garden, is located in Shibpur, Howrah, near Kolkata, West Bengal. Established in 1787 by Colonel Robert Kyd, it is one of the oldest and largest botanical gardens in India.

It covers over 270 acres and houses more than 12,000 species of plants.
