Los Angeles Men's Olympic Marathon 1984

This is the Summer Olympics men’s marathon, held on Sunday, August 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. It was the last event of those games. While we are accustomed to high-definition images today, this recording was taken from an extended play Kodak VHS tape, recorded from a less-than-reputable cable TV company.

I have searched high and low and have not found anyone else that has the complete marathon here on Youtube and I thought it would be fun to share this old recording with you.

Again apologies that the picture and sound are so blah, but it is the complete race from start to finish as it was originally telecast live on that day.
