Color Basics
Three Primary Colors (Ps): Red, Yellow, Blue.
Three Secondary Colors (S'): Orange, Green, Violet.
Six Tertiary Colors (Ts): Red-Orange, Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Green, Blue-Green, Blue-Violet, Red-Violet, which are formed by mixing a primary with a secondary.

Neutral colors include black, white, gray, and sometimes brown and beige.

When we mix the primary, secondary and neutral colours in different quantities and ratios we get a wide variety of shades and hues.
In our day to day life we encounter many different shades of colours when we become clueless about how to name or explain the exact shade..
In this video I have come up with names of different colours and shades which when understood properly by a child helps the child to differentiate between colours and thus help them to identify various shades of various objects he comes across.
