Parasyte The Maxim is an absolute must watch of an anime, sitting comfortably at number five in my top five, I really can't recommend this enough. As collectors editions go, it was alright, but the suprise is what really shines. Now that was a collectors edition worth having.

A horror anime with some pretty deep undertones, it's not a light watch, but worth every second. Only one season, but that's all it needs. Netflix did do a live action Parasyte, set in Korea, so not a live action remake, more a side story that takes place at the same time. Not as good as the anime of course, but still some good stuff.

The manga is finished, has been a while, but they're currently doing a full colour reprint! Given how graphic some of the scenes are, it really helps make it pop. Parasyte is an anime that will stick with you for quite some time.
