AddicTech is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Project which aims to increase awareness on digital addiction and new methods to stop/decrease the addiction.

You will watch a video created by the projects participants during our exchange between 25 July 2021-2 August 2021, in Kızılcahamam, Ankara, Turkey.

The project "AddicTech" is created to draw attention to the rapidly growing addiction on technology "The disease of the age " ,to create/increase awareness about the topic, to teach the correct and effective use of technology and informing the participants with the objective of pursuing nonformal education methods in Turkey, Europe and in the World.

The project group has five different countries and had a total of five group leaders of each group. The non-formal education methods are used during the project. There were open sessions with participants, opportunity to develop creativity with participatory drama method, opportunities to recognize Turkish culture and youth projects with cultural trips and visits to the Zero Waste Centre, group workshops are formed with mixed groups with participants from different countries, and different cultures recognized and new friendships will are established with the help of workshops. Eight key competencies of our participants are developed in all our activities. It is expected that all young people who participate in the project will gain awareness about technology addiction and disseminate these awareness in their own countries and organizations. In the long run, it is predicted that not only will technology addiction be tolerated, but also the awareness of general addiction will be maintained. With the expected effects, there is no doubt that young people, who are the keys of the future, will be illuminated by the project for their countries and the world after the young people are informed in terms of proper use and management.
