Earth was at peace when the invasion began at least, as much peace as the fractured world had known for years. The K'raath, a race from the distant planet Kra’thar, had been observing humanity for centuries, waiting for the right moment to strike. Their planet, bathed in twilight under a red sun, had nurtured a species that was telepathically connected, capable of manipulating their environment and other beings through sheer mental will. They had conquered countless worlds, bending species to their will without breaking a sweat. Humanity was just another target.
