they see a white star, glowing with the full spectrum of visible light.
A perfect blend of every color of the rainbow, compressed into a single brilliant point.

The yellow we see from Earth is only an illusion created by
Rayleigh scattering,
the same process that makes the sky blue and sunsets red.

Remove the atmosphere, remove the distortion—
and the Sun reveals itself exactly as it is:
white, powerful, and overwhelmingly bright.
