As we journey towards the Cross this Easter, many people will use Lent as a chance to give something up, to re-focus their lives on who God has called them to be, and maybe kick some bad habits into touch. But for many of us, we can easily slip up, even in an intentional 40-day purge, or get through Lent, only to over-indulge and go back into old habits. None of us like to admit it, but many of us struggle with issues of addiction. Be it a significant substance abuse, or gambling addiction, to whether we simply need to get real about our relationship with food, or even our phones.

Rebekah Thomas has worked for over a decade in the addiction sector, and along with her husband Clyde, is a Director for Hope Centre Ministries, working with people who are journeying out of addiction. With first-hand experience, Rebekah has created three workbooks, resources to equip not only individuals, but also the church, as they support people within their church and wider community to step out of lives controlled by addiction and into the True Freedom that can be found in Jesus.
