4K Desert Drive in UAE | Liwa Oasis to Moreeb Dune

Liwa Oasis is located in the northern part of the Rub' al Khali desert.
The drive starts at Liwa Oasis and heads to Moreeb Dune (Tal Mireb) and back to Liwa Oasis.
Dunes are very high in this area, and many tourists visit here to enjoy activities in winter. But no one in the summertime.

The temperature was 46°C / 115°F at the beginning of the drive, and it reached 47°C when I arrived at Moreeb Dune.

There was no shadow in the desert as I came here at noon. That made the scenery a bit unrealistic.
As for temperature, I felt much more comfortable here, with 46°C and nearly 0 humidity, than in Dubai, with 41-43°C and 100% humidity.

In contrast to this barren desert, Liwa Oasis, which is the start and end point of this trip, has everything we need for a trip, such as gas stations, small restaurants, supermarkets, and hotels.
