Mark Ward:
“The main regulation in terms of building control comes under BS-6297, which is effectively a controlling document which specifies what type of system, how it should be installed, where it should be installed. The works are normally done under what’s called a building notice with the local authorities, so they would come out and inspect the works. And then of course, you’ve got the environment agency legislation in respect of the discharge, so where are we going to put the effluent afterwards.”
