Pakistan seemed to be celebrating the manifesto of Congress and NC. Pakistan's Defense Minister has endorsed these parties; their agenda aligns with Pakistan's agenda over Article 370. In the first phase of elections, Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan's defense minister Khawaja Asif came out and said, "As per the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir, I am concerned for Pakistan; Congress and the NC Alliance in Jammu & Kashmir are seen to be on the same page.".
