Volkan Narcı, TEDxYildizTechnialUniversity sahnesinde deniz ve deniz ekosistemi üzerine yaptığı çalışmaları; deniz dibinde terk edilmiş hayalet ağların temizlenmesi ve geri dönüştürülmesinin önemini dinleyicilerle paylaştı. Farkındalığın ve harekete geçmenin önemini vurguladı. He graduated from Eskişehir University, Faculty of Business Administration and started his corporate career. He managed lots of projects as an executive. He ended his active business life and returned to Istanbul Islands where he spent his childhood. His new life adventure, which started as a fisherman, continued in Adalar City Council / Life with the Sea and Protection Working Group, Adalar Search and Rescue. His civil society journey continues as the founding president of the Marine Life Protection Association. He realized Turkey's first and only coral transplantation project. He continues to work on the realization of important projects for the future of nature and human life, such as cleaning and recycling abandoned ghost nets on the seabed, creating Marine Protected Areas including the Marmara Sea. He continues to carry out many National and International projects under the umbrella of DYKD, Cmas fisherman training, awareness raising activities on sailing and sustainability.
