The tale of Shangri la

Описание к видео The tale of Shangri la

Shangrila resort Skardu was founded by the late Brig. Retd. Muhammad Aslam Khan in around 1983. He was inspired by the mystical Shangri-La, a hidden, isolated, tranquil place in the depths of the mighty Himalayas. Shangrila resort in skardu is an alleged inspiration by the harmonious Shangri-La narrated by James Hilton in his best seller novel, "Lost Hirizon".

Shangri-La, Bilton writes, "is a mystical, harmonious, tranquil place in Himalayas that is full of beautiful wild flowers and fruits. Hilton narrates a plane crash near a river bed in Himalayas where the Budhist monks find a few survivors and they are taken to this heavenly place, he named, Shangri-La. It is a Tibetan word translated to "heaven on earth".
